THE BATTLE OF THE CLAY MASKS

LUSH BB SEAWEED MASK £6.25
THE BODY SHOP SEAWEED IONIC CLAY MASK £12

For those with oily skin, like myself, clay-based masks are essential. I use a clay mask at least once a week to balance and refresh my skin and it always leaves my skin so soft.

I am constantly on the lookout for new clay masks in search of the best. So I have compiled this little review including two products - one from Lush and one for The Body Shop. Who will be victorious?

The first, and most purse friendly at £5.95, is the Lush BB Seaweed Mask. Applictaion is a little messy as it is a really thick texture, but this one leaves my skin feeling so clean and smooth. My only issue with these is quite a weird one but you have to keep Lush masks in the fridge and I often forget they're there unless I put them into my routine.

The next is my good old friend, The Body Shop Ionic Clay Mask, I have used this mask for so long and will always stand by it. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and soft, especially when I use a muslin cloth to remove it. For £12 you get a lot of masks out of this and it'll last you a good amount of time. This one is definitely my favourite as any redness is notably less red and it feels like I've had a mini transformation. (Wow, that made me sound like a weirdo.)

So there you go, The Body Shop wins!
